Publicity:
All members receive a free listing of their
company’s name by classification in
our bi-annual membership directory, “Merced
Today.” New members receive a free
listing in the Chamber’s monthly newsletter,
“The Merced Business Journal.”
All new members receive a new member listing
on the “Chamber Page” of the
“Merced Sun-Star.” In addition,
a Ribbon Cutting can be scheduled if you
desire. An article about your business will
be published in the Business Journal and
the picture will be published in the Sun-Star
- free of charge! A copy of the photo taken
at the ribbon cutting will be given to you.

& Political Contacts: Each
quarter at our “Wake Up Merced”
breakfast, each new member is given two
minutes to introduce his/her business and
the services provided. You are also given
this opportunity at the monthly “Business
Connector.” During the New Member
Reception, you will have an opportunity
to meet some the Chamber Board members,
Ambassadors and staff. This is where it
all begins. By attending these functions
and the many other Chamber events, you are
afforded the opportunity to make valuable
business contacts. You become part of a
personal “Customer referral service.”

Referrals: Your Chamber receives
hundreds of calls a month for the names,
addresses and phone numbers of local businesses
and professionals. Only Chamber members
